URGENT: Foster and foster-to-adopt homes needed!

Your networking is making a difference! This case has gone from a developing hoarding situation to a manageable re-homing effort.

This rescue effort demonstrates the power of cooperation by those involved as well as support from the community. Because everyone is working together in the best interest of the dogs, they are able to get the medical services they need and into good, loving homes.

Animal Control has played an important part in the success of this rescue effort. We sincerely appreciate their support of how we are approaching this case and executing our work.

People are coming forward to foster the dogs in need. For every foster home found, a spot at a local shelter remains open for another dog in need. When you foster an animal you are truly saving more than just that particular dog or cat. Foster homes allow animals to learn how to socialize and learn what being a part of a family is all about. Please consider fostering an animal with one of your local animal rescues!

Your help is still needed. Please continue to check our website and Facebook page to learn about the new dogs ready for adoption.

About the dogs
• The dogs range between 15-40 lbs
• The dogs vary in age from 9 months to 7 years
• The dogs have had minimal socialization with humans (hand-shy, but not aggressive)

Our goals
• To get all dogs spayed/neutered
• To get the dogs into foster or foster-to-adopt homes
• To get the dogs any medical services needed
• To get the dogs bathed and groomed

Please note that these dogs have some special needs
• They have never lived indoors, so they need to be housebroken. We can assist by providing kennels while they go through this process as well as
  housebreaking guidance.
• They need training and socialization. They are not aggressive, just shy, but do warm up to people.
• They lived in groups and have been able to cohabitate with their foster dog siblings.
•
They were not exposed to cats but, since arriving, they have done well with their foster cat siblings.
• Most of them are not comfortable with children and therefore we are looking for homes without young kids.
• They were not exposed to many men, so they do take time to warm up to them.
• As with any new addition, there will need to be gradual introductions to all family members- human, canine, and/or feline.

Your donation is tax deductible. FEIN: 38-3707806
