While traveling in Poland on business, KSF founding members, Brian and Kelly Nelson, were introduced to a farmer whose family makes wicker baskets during the non-harvesting months. They partnered with a few families and were able to provide them with a steady income during the farmer’s most difficult time of the year.

One of the items created was a fully functional two-tier pet bed. The pet beds are hand made by families living in the Beskidy Mountains of the Carpathian Mountain Region of Poland. They pick the wicker from the forests, dry it, and hand weave the beds.

A limited number of pet beds have been donated to Kindred Souls Foundation! These are not the same two-tier wicker beds made in China that you see at large chain stores.

Each bed measures approximately (outside measurements): 21.5L x 15W x 17H; opening approximately 7 x 7

Top and bottom levels can be used as a bed or the top level can be used to hold your pet’s toys!

Each bed comes with a hand-sewn pillow. Washing and care instructions are included.

Beds can be picked up in Tacoma on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10AM – 5PM or on every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 10AM – 3PM.
