Senior Companion Program
Senior Humans + Senior Animals
Far too often, older animal companions are abandoned or
euthanized because of their age. 10+ year old animals are wonderful companions!
Usually, they are calm, bond strongly with their person, love to sit on laps for
a nap, or are quite content to receive some gentle chin scratches.
Our Senior Companion Program matches people 62+ with cats or dogs 10+ and
provides food, cat litter, and medical services to the animal for the remainder
of the animal companion's life!*
Each animal
has a case manager who coordinates the animal's food and litter delivery and vet
appointments at Chambers Creek Vet Hospital in Lakewood, WA.
There is no adoption fee since the companion remains a Kindred Souls Foundation
animal while the Senior person cares for him/her!
*Senior Companion Program is currently limited to cities within a
20-minute radius of Lakewood, WA; brands of holistic food and cat litter are
selected by KSF as per the animal's individual treatment plan

Open and print our Senior Companion
Program Application and fill it out completely. Partially completed applications
will not be reviewed. You may send your completed application to us via mail,
email, or fax. Should you need an application mailed to you, then please contact
us with your name and address. Speak clearly and slowly so that we hear the
correct information!
The in-person interview and home study will be completed after your written
application is submitted and reviewed.
